This Autumn Equinox walk (it's officially the Autumn Equinox the following day on the Stonehenge Walk), starts at Burrington Combe car park. We will then take on the highest point in the Mendip Hills - Beacon Batch before going on to Black Rocks Quarry, the top of Cheddar Gorge South Side, most of the North side before returning to the car park.
Elevation - 1900ft.
Plenty of rocky paths, tree roots and steps. If wet this walk can get pretty slippy in places, bring poles if you are a bit unstable.
Please bring enough food and water to sustain you. We will have a break with a view about half way round.
