Luis Martelo, a Portuguese trumpeter based in England, is a former trumpeter with the Portuguese Army Symphonic Band. He is an artist for the B&S brand, part of Buffet Crampon. He has won the Silver Medal at the Global Music Awards for the last five consecutive years: best instrumentalist, best new artist, best album, and best band. Luis records for various West End artists, both national and international, including Hollywood films. Between tour stops, he has also played in dozens of musicals throughout England.
His versatility, unique sound and style, as well as his unique humour and character, make him one of the most acclaimed trumpet players of the new generation and a well-known face on TV and in the national and international media in general.
