VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day) will be celebrated on August 15, 2025, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Pacific.

Weston-super-Mare Town Council have supported the Royal British Legion Weston-super-Mare Branch to put together a “picnic on the lawn” event at The Royal Hotel Weston-super-Mare bringing the community together to remember the sacrifices of those who served and mark the end of the hostilities.
